You don't need to arrive with a completely formed concept. We can develop the composition together.
02. Composition
Once we have agreed the size, medium and direction of the painting, I will develop the composition and discuss any important details with you before painting begins.
03. The Painting
Your painting is created by hand in my studio using traditional layering techniques.
I can share selected progress updates as the work develops.
04. Secure Delivery
Once the painting is complete and fully dry, I will arrange collection or carefully packaged delivery.
International delivery can also be discussed depending on the destination and size of the work.
Questions
What is your current lead time for a commission?
Timing depends on the size, medium and complexity of the painting. I will give you an estimated completion time before you confirm your commission.
Oil paintings may also require additional drying time before they can safely be varnished, packaged or shipped.
How is pricing determined for private commissions?
Commission prices depend on the dimensions, medium and complexity of the piece.
Once I know what you have in mind, I can provide a quotation before any work begins.
Do you offer international shipping for large works?
Yes. International delivery can be arranged for many works. Shipping is quoted separately according to the size of the painting and destination.
